It is soooo very important to read and know The Word, because we all have to give an account as individuals. I made the mistake as a new Christian of listening to what many differnet preachers and teachers said without seeing if it lined up with scripture (MANY sources- different churches, different radio broadcasts, different TV shows, different publications.) I assumed all preachers preached the Truth. I was wrong. The thing was is that it wasn't wrong in an obvious sort of way- if you know what I mean. God will reveal the Truth to people who have a heart seek after the Truth, and I certainly believe that involves investing a substantial amount of time in prayer and study. DON'T BE LAZY!
